1. Alorica at Home
Alorica at Home is a well-established company looking for remote workers. In this position, you will be providing excellent customer service. That may include obtaining and verifying customer information, answering questions the customer has, resolving issues, and explaining sales features or products.

2. Blooms Today

Pearson frequently hires remote workers. In South Dakota, they are currently looking for Faculty Advisors for Math and Chemistry, among other positions. These roles are subject matter experts. The goal will be to work with the rest of the team to advise on the redesign of courses and curriculum. Creating training resources, consulting on assessment and grading, and answering pedagogical questions are all important parts of these positions.
These positions are not entry level. Candidates must have a master’s degree in math or chemistry. They need five years of teaching experience at the college level.

4. Allied Solutions
Located in Dakota Dunes, South Dakota, Allied Solutions is looking for customer service reps. After six-months of reporting to work in their office, successful candidates can transition to a work from home position.
To succeed, you will need to answer customer questions with speed, accuracy, and care. You will need to handle inbound calls and help work through the outbound call queue. A year of related work experience is required.

5. Supporting Strategies
Do you enjoy crunching numbers? If you are an experienced bookkeeper who can work 20-30 hours a week, then the Remote Accountant/Virtual Bookkeeper opportunity from Supporting Strategies might be right up your alley.
Successful candidates will be able to handle payroll and financial reporting. Since this is a customer facing position, you must provide excellent customer care. You will be working with multiple clients to help them handle their bookkeeping tasks.
A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is necessary (or an advanced degree). You will also need to have five years of experience in bookkeeping support.
6. SYKES
SYKES is looking for work-from-home customer service agents in South Dakota. If you enjoy solving problems, listening empathetically, and can stay calm under pressure, definitely check out this position.

8. Esurance
Esurance has headquarters in Sioux Falls and hires remote workers on occasion. The last opening started training in April 2019. These were full-time positions that included necessary equipment and benefits.
