Have you been wondering how to make money on Poshmark? You are not alone. This online reselling platform has become increasingly popular in recent years with over 40 million community members as of January 2019.
The great thing about Poshmark is that it's user-friendly. Unlike eBay where you need to determine your own shipping costs and methods, Poshmark's platform is streamlined and efficient. You make a sale, they email you a prepaid shipping label. Put your item in almost any shipping box and schedule a pickup with your mailperson.
In a few short months, I have been able to sell over 200 items on Poshmark for a few thousand dollars. Not everyone's experience will be the same. Your profit potential will be determined by the items you carry, how you price them and how active you are on the platform.
On this page, I hope to share with you some of my top tips and resources for making money on Poshmark.

Here are a few of my favorite tools and resources as a Poshmark reseller:
Stuff on Amazon - From polymer shipping bags to cleaning supplies, there are a lot of things I buy on Amazon to make my reselling life easier and more efficient.
Reseller Tax Academy - If you are reselling for profit, you need to think about taxes. This self-paced course from Not Your Dad's CPA will walk you through everything you need to know - even if you have a hot mess on your hands!
Size.ly - Measurements got you down? Size.ly can help you create simple templates for measuring your clothing. The service is currently used by over 35,000 online sellers! Get started for free.
List Perfectly - Wish you could branch out to other selling platforms but the idea of creating all of those listings holding you back? I hear ya! I use List Perfectly to cross-post my items from Poshmark to Mercari, eBay and more. A few clicks of the mouse and you're done. More platforms = more sales!
The Container Store - Every reseller needs good storage solutions. The Container Store has tons of great closet and storage items to meet your needs. I love their clear weathertight garage storage tubs for keeping my clothing items clean and collected.
ThredUp - Want more items to list on Poshmark but are short on time? Maybe you don't have many suitable sourcing spots in your area. ThredUp Rescue Boxes are an easy way to get your hands on more inventory. There are no guarantees, but it's worth a shot if you love to roll the dice.

I recently started selling on Poshmark. The plan was just selling our own gently used, unwanted clothing. After the first sale, however, I was hooked! As our first sales came in, I thought this would be a great opportunity for me to finally dip my toe into the reselling pool. I have long been interested in […]Read More
As my husband and I finished out our first month as Poshmark sellers this past weekend, we couldn’t help but reflect on how much we’ve learned already. Trust me. We still have a long way to go, but we’ve come a long way. This little venture all started as just a trial to squeeze a […]Read More
We have been taking the Poshmark app by storm for the past month and a half or so now. We have made over 100 sales thus far and are feeling good about learning the ropes of reselling. Because Poshmark is an app-based selling platform, and I spend a lot of time on the road these days, I […]Read More
As our Poshmark sales ticked up and up over our first two months as resellers, our printer ink was ticking down and down. Though I have a newer, business model laser printer, it isn’t the most economical when it comes to ink. When I saw the new black ink cartridge was going to cost over […]Read More
My husband and I have been selling on Poshmark, eBay, Mercari and Kidizen since June 2019. We quickly fell in love with reselling clothing and have built up quite the side gig in very little time. It didn’t take us long to run through unwanted items around our house, however. To continue, we needed to […]Read More
My husband and I started out selling clothing on Poshmark alone. As we experienced little ebbs and flows on each platform, it reinforced the need to cross-list our items on several apps to keep things moving and diversify our reseller income. Though we focus primarily on adult clothing and shoes, every now and again we […]Read More
