Do you love crunching numbers? If you have experience as a bookkeeper, Reconciled is hiring. They’re only looking for candidates who live in one of three states, and North Carolina is one of them.
You’ll need a year of permanent remote work experience. Since you’ll be working in a client-facing position, excellent communication skills are essential. Familiarity with Quickbooks Online, or the ability to quickly learn it, is required.

Can you provide excellent virtual customer support? Do you enjoy listening to others and solving problems? If you answered yes to these questions, Conduent may be a great fit for you.
Current openings pay $12/hour for training and $13/hour after 90 consecutive days of employment.
Their Virtual Customer Service positions are full-time positions, not contract work. Shifts are 8-10 hours in length, between the hours of 7 am and 11 pm CST.
A private, distraction-free workspace is essential. You also need to be technically inclined and confident with the use of smartphones, tablets, PCs and Macs.

Do you connect with Caring.com’s mission to match seniors with the best assisted living situation for their family? Do you have experience in sales and enjoy talking to people? Caring.com is currently searching for a North Carolina based Senior Living Sales Advisor.
In this position, you’d help families find the best living option for their senior citizen. Compensation is variable, though you can expect to earn $45,000 to $55,000 each year. Some sales advisors earn up to $70,000. Benefits include a base salary, medical benefits, a 401k, and time off.

Tech Service Today, LLC provides IT, Telecom, and Cabling services. They are currently hiring exceptional customer service professionals for full-time positions. These positions pay $12-16 an hour and have benefits. Candidates must be able to work at least one weekend day, and will preferably be available for shifts starting later in the day, such as 1:00 pm – 10:00 pm EST.
The company has found that people from the hospitality or restaurant industries typically excel in these positions. A large portion of this job will be to coordinate with techs and clients to ensure successful installation or repair of services. This means you’ve got to be able to track many moving parts and pay close attention to detail. Excellent communication skills are required.

5. Boldly
Boldly provides subscription staffing services to a variety of businesses. They are looking for Executive Assistants, Marketing & Social Media Specialists, Project Managers, and Executive Assistant – Paralegals to join the team. They only hire candidates from 16 states, and North Carolina is on the approved list!
While the exact requirements and qualifications vary from position to position, you will need to have experience in the position you’re seeking, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work independently while providing quality work.

OceanX is a technology platform company in the physical membership space. They’re currently looking for employees to join their call center. You must be able to train locally in Arden, North Carolina. The training is on-site. After six weeks, you can transition to working from home.
Successful applicants will answer inbound customer service contacts via phone, email or live chat, while maintaining a courteous demeanor. You’ve got to be a great communicator to be a good fit for this position. Previous customer service experience, or experience working with the public, is required.

7. Accolade Support
Accolade Support is looking for candidates for both customer service agents and outbound sales telemarketers. Both of these opportunities are for contract employees. They’re both temporary or project-based positions, and not full-time or permanent.
To qualify, you should need to enjoy speaking with people, have top-notch communication skills, and have good sales skills as well. Their customer service agents must have a reliable PC. The sales position requires either a PC or a Mac. Outbound sales requires two years or more of call center experience, dealing with cold calls.
