Have you ever thought about starting a home-based business but were put off by the high startup costs? Here’s a great new opportunity for you to consider! It’s with an organization called Kaeser & Blair, and I can’t wait to share the details with you.
What does Kaesar & Blair do?
Kaeser & Blair sells promotional products — things like pens, t-shirts, bags, and other materials with company names, etc. printed on them. It’s structured similarly to a direct sales organization, but your potential customers are more likely to be businesses than individuals, which means you’ve got a lot of opportunity to grow and you won’t have to keep promoting your products to your personal networks (which is something that some direct sales reps feel pressured to do).
Many businesses use promotional products in their ongoing advertising campaigns, and any kind of special project or event may call for its own promotional materials as well. Because your target market is local businesses, there’s theoretically no limit to how many clients and businesses you can pick up!
How Does It Work?
The first step is to submit an application for a standard or premier business package. Once your application is processed, you’ll receive information and materials via email to help you get started, training to show you best practices, and your complete Business Owner package.
After your Business Owner package comes in the mail, you’ll have a strategy session with your personal K&B Support Executive. This is your opportunity to ask all your questions, get great insight from an experienced rep, and get started on the right foot.
Typically the next step is to put together your marketing plan, including any materials you want to have available to share what you offer and how your K&B products can be used. The company will provide materials for you, or you can create your own. (I love the idea of creating my own marketing materials once I have a great sense of what the best offers are and what my potential clients really respond to!)
Then it’s time to do your marketing! The goal is to set up appointments with potential clients where you can learn about their business needs and share the ways your own business can help support them. The goal is to be solving a problem — which in your case is most likely going to be something along the lines of not having the right high-quality promotional materials at the right price.
Continue marketing and making appointments, and before long you’ll start having orders to fill!
When you get an order, submit it to K&B, and they’ll do all the rest. You don’t need to keep your own inventory or manage the production. All you do is find out what your customers need and want, and then order it for them.
Getting Paid with Kaeser & Blair
Payments are made quickly with Kaeser & Blair — once a factory-ready order is received, your payment is processed within 24-48 hours. You can receive your earnings via direct deposit or by check, with direct deposit being the much quicker option. Payments are processed every day, so you’ll get paid for each order you turn in. No minimum thresholds, no waiting period. (The exception is that if you choose to be paid via check, those are only cut once a week.)
You’ll earn a percentage of the total order volume you turn in. To start out, you’ll take home a commission of 50% of the gross profit of your order total. If you do very well and make $50,000 in a year, you’ll be able to bump your commission up as high as 65% of gross profit on each order.
There’s also a great incentive program for the K&B reps who are highly motivated. There are monthly prizes for each of the dealers who have the highest sales volume, most new clients, and most orders. There’s also an annual bonus program and, as I mentioned before, the opportunity to increase your commission once you hit the $50,000 threshold.
Teams: Another Way to Earn
One of the exciting things about direct sales opportunities is the ability to build your own team and support others in their work-at-home dreams while you earn a commission on the sales your team makes.
When you build your own downline, you’ll receive a 20% commission on the orders your team members submit. If you’re excited about what you do with K&B, that excitement is sure to rub off on those around you, and if you can find others who are willing to put in as much energy as you are, you’ll have a nice revenue stream from your team alone — that’s not even touching the sales commissions you’ll be making with your own clients.
The Bottom Line: You’re In Control
What I really like about K&B is that they leave you in full control of your earnings. The cost to get started is very low, you don’t have to maintain an inventory (other than any samples you want to keep on hand), and there aren’t minimums and quotas for you to meet each month. It’s entirely up to you how much (or how little) you work, and the payoff is truly what you decide you want it to be.
