Have I told you lately how much I love this time of year? Have I told you lately how much I love shopping? Well, it’s true. I love picking out the perfect gift for someone special. I love searching down the best possible deal on Black Friday. I love the crowds, the food, the festivities… This is my time!
Today I have picked out a few of my favorite gifts for bloggers and home business owners. These are great for gifting a loved one, virtual assistant or yourself.
Commit30 Planner – If you follow me regularly, you’ve already heard me talk about this planner more than once. Daily planners are essential for entrepreneurs. And when I’m ready for growth, I find committing to a short-term “challenge” is the best way to accomplish big things. This planner helps you set monthly goals and achieve them by completing daily tasks. Awesome! I’ve ordered mine, and it should be arriving shortly.
Business Card Holder – On my “to do” list for 2016 is attend at least one blogging conference. I have it picked out. I just need to make my travel arrangements and buy some awesome new business cards, which I haven’t done in five years! For easy storage, I found this cute little holder. There are over 200 fabrics to choose from and monogramming is free. (If you are wondering where I’m buying my new “blogging” cards, also from Etsy. They have a huge selection of custom cards available to reflect every personality and niche.)
Inspirational Art – Every home office needs a little bit of inspiration. I love this watercolor with a quote from Chuck Close, “Inspiration is for amateurs; the rest of us just show up and get to work.”
Diva Light Ring – This is a bit of a splurge, but I’ve heard so many recommendations for the Diva Light Ring for Periscoping, video blogging and taking indoor pictures. It’s definitely on my wishlist though I don’t know I’ll be making the investment anytime soon. Perhaps Santa will leave it in my stocking.
Headshots – Another splurge, but a professional headshot is a must-have in my book. Again, my headshot is probably reaching five years old. Shameful! ? I have already scheduled a fun photo shoot for March and I plan on throwing in a few headshots for the blog that reflect my personality as well. The good news is so many people are offering amateur freelance photography services today you can likely find someone really affordable in your community or on Facebook.
I’d love to hear what’s on your wishlist this year. Leave me a comment below.
