One of the things you might not realize at the beginning of your search for a work-at-home job is that some companies hire remote employees only from specific states. Often these states are where the company already has a physical presence, which is an important tax consideration.
If you live in the Lone Star State and are looking for a flexible schedule or an at-home job, there are plenty of companies for you to choose from. Some do have specific location requirements, wanting you to live within a specific distance from the corporate office. Others just require you to be a full-time resident of Texas.
Be sure to read the job descriptions carefully to make sure you qualify before applying. Also, check for any on-site training that might be required. Some companies require you to complete their training program at their location before you’ll be able to work from home. And many jobs require you to have a set schedule, not set your own hours.
If you’re ready to ditch the commutes and take the leap find to a remote job, these ten companies may be your best bet because they’re frequently hiring people to work from home in Texas.
