Because of this, one of my favorite strategies for finding great work at home positions is to look locally, in your home state. Not only can you find some unique opportunities, but you typically don’t have as much competition as you would for a nationwide position.
No matter where the job is located, it’s important to always read the postings in their entirety before applying. Some companies require candidates to live within a certain radius of their headquarters or come into the office for training. You may also see positions that begin on-site and then transition to a home office in the future. You need to know these details beforehand so you don’t get an unexpected surprise.

As a consultant, you will take inbound calls from customers. Are numbers your jam? If you’re ready to use your accounting knowledge and bookkeeping skills to virtually help clients, Supporting Strategies might be a great fit. They’re currently recruiting for Financial Operations Associates and Financial Operations Managers who live in New Hampshire.
To succeed in this position, the company asks that you have an associate degree in a related field, at least five years of experience, and the capacity to work 20-30 hours a week during daytime business hours. You must be able to protect client confidentiality.
