How Can I Get Ready?
- Become a Prime member!
- Download the free Amazon app.
- Mark your calendar for 12 am PT July 15. Deals will run through July 16th.
- Now, Amazon keeps the deals pretty secret leading up to the event. However, you can start getting a sneak peek on select deals starting now in the Amazon app. You will also be able to add items you like to your list to get an alert when they go on sale. (You can do this in your app Settings under Notifications. Choose Watchlist or Wish List.)
- On Prime Day, you will be able to get the deals via the Amazon website, Amazon app or Alexa. You can also stop into your local Whole Foods store for specials.
- On Prime Day, Amazon will also be sneak-peeking deals before they start. You will also be able to check specific items for deals. They will display a Prime Day Deal badge.
Don’t forget you can also invite a household member or teen to share your Prime benefits at no charge.
How to Save Even More Money
Amazon recognizes Prime Day is a favorite among savvy shoppers. Therefore, they have provided a few more ways to save.
- Install Amazon Assistant to get notifications of deals you’ve watched on Prime Day. You will also get $10 off your next order of $50 or more! (The site says it can take up to 48 hours for the promotional credit to show up if you are a new Prime member and the offer is only good through July 23. So, get signed up now!)
- Get a $10 credit when you sign into the Amazon App for the first time. And get another $10 when you make your first in-app purchase.
- Earn a $10 credit when you reload your Amazon gift card balance with $100 or more.
- Shop at Whole Foods Market – in-store or on Prime Now – between July 3 and 16 and get $10 you can use on Prime Day.
