Home tutoring is also a great idea for those students who are preparing for competitive exams. Syllabus is almost same and they can earn while helping others learn. If you did well in your school, then providing tutoring service will be a good bet for you.

Nice article, Angie!

I help out a lot of tutors and one thing I would add is that the income a tutor can earn online also depends on what online platform they’re using.
While many do pay $8-12 per hour as you mention, many other platforms allow tutors to set their own rates. A few tutors I’ve recently helped out have been earning $50-75 per hour on a platform such as WyzAnt.

This would be a great idea for all of the young University Grads now coming out of College with no job to go to immediately: reaching kids the basics of the education in their field, earn some money,m use their skills, and learn how to run a small business.
