Hi Angie

I really enjoy reading your tips and advice. I only wish the UK was more open-minded to working-from-home. We have only just begun to understand flexible working, and very few companies offer it! Through a lot of hard work and research online I have managed to find a few UK opportunities most of these are clickwork and mystery shopping. I enjoy them both but when I tell people what I do they tend to look at me as if I have two heads and then when I explain it they usually say something along the lines of “Oh so it isn’t “proper” work.” which leaves me feeling quite deflated. Work over here to most people means going out of the house and working 9-5, to me it’s about doing a job and earn money from it.

You mentioned Inbox Dollars there is also Inbox Pounds and there is a Swagbucks UK too. I have now managed to find about 20 UK sites that pay for answering surveys, and am registered with 6 or so Mystery Shopping agencies. My real passion is writing and I have managed to get some articles published, I think I was more excited about seeing my work in print than the pay. 🙂 My search continues for more profitable work from home opportunites but I just wanted to say thank you for positive, encouraging and inspiring website.
