I've been using the Infinity 3 foot pedal for several weeks now, and I'm very happy with it. It's a well-made, easy-to-use, and affordable tool that I highly recommend to anyone who needs to transcribe audio recordings or dictate documents.
Here's a more detailed review of the Infinity 3 foot pedal:
Design and construction
The Infinity 3 foot pedal is made of high-quality materials, including a sturdy metal frame and a comfortable rubber pad. It's also very well-built, with no loose parts or wobbly joints.
The pedal is about the size of a laptop computer, and it weighs about 2 pounds. It's small and lightweight enough to carry with you, but it's also sturdy enough to withstand heavy use.
Ease of use
The Infinity 3 foot pedal is very easy to use. It comes with a clear and concise user manual, and it's easy to figure out how to use all of its features. Even if you're not tech-savvy, you'll be able to get up and running with the Infinity 3 foot pedal in no time.
The pedal has three main buttons: a play/pause button, a rewind button, and a forward button.
Features
The Infinity 3 foot pedal comes with a variety of features that make it a great value for the price.
The pedal also has a USB port, so you can connect it to your computer.
Overall
I'm very happy with the Infinity 3 foot pedal. It's a well-made, easy-to-use, and affordable tool that I highly recommend to anyone who needs to transcribe audio recordings or dictate documents.
Here are some of the pros and cons of the Infinity 3 foot pedal:
Pros:
Well-made and durable
Easy to use
Affordable
Comes with a variety of features
Cons:
None that I have found so far
So far I am completely amazed with this product and wish I would have bought one years ago. It has been able to play every type of audio and video file I've tried, and is as simple as just dragging and dropping the file into the software. Also very easy to hookup and begin using.
One word of caution for those not familiar with this pedal - this pedal does not come with any software. All you get when you order is the pedal itself. The software is separate. Not a big deal for me because I had already been told that by the person who recommended it to me. But just FYI for the rest of you considering this purchase.
I've heard you can get a free software trial version called "Express Scribe Free", but for some reason my pedal said it wasn't compatible with the free version of this software. (I never personally tried it. I just took their word for it.) That wasn't a problem for me because I already knew I wanted the full version of this software (Express Scribe Pro), so I just bought that online and downloaded it right to my computer and immediately got to work. (I love that software program too if you're looking for a recommendation for software. It works very well with this pedal.)

I emailed the seller and they emailed me back within a couple of hours (thanks!) with real (non-bot) replies.
In case any others in my situation have this:
Windows recognised it but the pedals didn't activate the FTR Gold player I downloaded, on Parallels.
(Using this for transcription work.)
What I had to do after going into properties of the FTR player and saving preferences was go into a 'system info' area (in FTR player) and save the settings. It crashed, but after that, worked, ie the player finally responded to the footpedal.
There are no instructions with the pedal, and to be honest there didn't need to be. Within a minute of opening the package I had plugged the USB cable into my computer and windows (vista in my case) had recognised the pedal and installed the drivers. I started Express Scribe and clicked on options and then controller. The program already knew that the pedal had been installed so all I had to do was click to tell it to use it. It was that simple and I was up and running in under a minute.
The pedal itself is nice and weighty so it doesn't move around under foot. The pedals are comfortable to use. Audio typing is hell without one and this one seems to be good quality, simple to use and for a reasonable price.
