Are you looking for a remote job? Are you wondering which companies are legit? That's why you're here. Right?
FlexJobs recently released their annual Top 100 Companies with Remote Jobs. Several of the companies on the list are almost always hiring and are also companies for which I have received good feedback from my community. So, I thought this would be a good opportunity to feature those work-from-home companies knowing they are legit and community-approved.
This list may be a great place to start your at-home search if you are new to the online world. I’ve tried to include a job mix of industries and opportunities as well.
You can view FlexJobs' full list here.
Evaluator jobs are a fan favorite among my community. Not because of the endless amount of hours available to work – that’s usually not the case – but because of the flexibility. Depending on the project, you can often work your weekly hours anytime you want. And, it’s non-phone work.
That being said, some projects have more hours available than others. Some projects may only allow you to work one hour per week. But, this is a good gig to keep in your back pocket should you be able to get on with the company.
Currently hiring Internet Analysts, Voice Data Collectors, Social Media Evaluators and more.
Lionbridge’s work is along the same lines as Appen. And if hired as a Search Engine Evaluator, you can usually work for one company or the other, not both.

VIPKID hires English tutors. Many people in our community love this gig for the flexible hours and above average page. You don’t need to prepare any classroom assignments. Education materials will be provided.
To qualify, you must have a bachelor's degree in any subject plus any “formal” or “informal” teaching experience such as mentoring, tutoring, coaching, or alternative education. The video interview is really important for this one. It’s not something you should be worried about, however. They just want to make sure you have a great personality, are high energy and can interact well with the kids.
