There is no doubt that affiliate marketing is one of the biggest way to make money online. When I made $50 on very first sale commission I got surprised but also happy. Your guide is helpful for all to understand how they can make money with affiliate marketing.

In reply to Bradley Francis. I don't worry much about soliciting for comments anymore Bradley, as my most devoted fans are on my newsletter list or in my private Facebook Group. Email newsletters convert at a tremendously high percentage rate and those are people that will revisit your site over and over again should you treat them right.

Great post Angie, really thank you for covering pretty much every aspect of affiliate marketing.
I usually use Bitly to shorten my affiliate links but I will go check out the free version of BetterLinksPro as I think that URL shorteners give so much information on how my affiliate links are performing and I don’t want other competing affiliates to know how much traffic I generated for my link.

While there is hardly anything to add here I just want to add that while writing quality and actionable posts on my blog, it is still not enough as you need to work on promoting each post to generate comments.

These comments I think is an indication of reputation building and most likely your commenters will come back for more posts. And even buy my affiliate products since the trust is already developed.
