I have been trying to find places to write for and actually get paid for it. I am not looking to get rich from it, but a little money would be so helpful. The best part was when you listed the group of places that I could send it for greeting cards. I have been making my own cards for years now and just giving them to my husband and family and a few really great friends.

I highly recommend that those who want to write do a mixture of writing for clients/mills and writing things that you can do for yourself and earn from.
