I too love the illustration. I think keeping this in mind is really important, especially when you’re first getting going with blogging. You can put in a lot of long hours writing posts, trying to drive traffic, trying to make a little money, etc. It’s easy for people to look at you and think, “Wow. He spends a ton of time at the computer, but he doesn’t have anything to show for it.” They can’t see the big carrot that’s growing underneath, but you’ll know.
