My “Things to Share” list was getting rather long. It is a good time to clean it out and pass those must-read posts along to you.
Blogging News
Shareaholic had an update recently that brought several new features. There are new sharing buttons, analytics and it can even recommend posts to your viewers. If you are currently using an additional plugin like YARPP, nRelate or Link Worth, this is great news. You can get rid of yet another plugin.
Google will not be excluded from giving their two cents to your readers. If you have the +1 button enabled on your site, your readers will now see recommended posts from Google when they hover the button.
There was a great post from Copyblogger this week with 12 tasks for new WordPress users. This is a great post and includes some of my favorite plugins. Use it in conjunction with Monday’s post on creating a business website and you are good to go!
Writing good product reviews is an art. This excellent post from Lynn Terry provides a great review tutorial.
Are you an active guest poster? Do you have a designated landing page created to welcome those new visitors? One of my readers recently left this great post from Amy Lynn Andrews in a comment. What a great idea!
LinkedIn for Business
There was recently a discussion on my Facebook Page about LinkedIn. The conclusion was that many of us do not know how to effectively use LinkedIn to land clients, but we would like to! In this post on Kikolani, Carol Tice walks you through each step in optimizing your profile for finding freelance clients. Open this post, open your LinkedIn profile, get to work. Carol has even more tips on her blog.
A guest post on Problogger has some great tactics for growing your blog with LinkedIn. As is typically the case, these same methods can be used by both business owners and bloggers.
Makin’ Money
Are you looking to make a few extra bucks this summer? How about those teens in the house? Here is a post from my budget blog with 43 ways to make extra money this summer.
I overviewed a company called All’asta on my direct sales blog this week. This is a very unique opportunity. You make money. Your customers can make money. It’s a great deal all around.
This one doesn’t always involve money, but it can! Anna over at Real Ways to Earn Money Online has been running a series on sweepstakes. She has some great tips for “sweeping” some extra cash and free swag.
I have been working on another eBook that will hopefully be available by the end of the summer. In the interim, feel free to pick up my blogging guide. Right now you can get it for only $4.99!
Are there any topics I missed this week? If there is a question you need answered or a subject you would like to know more about, please leave me a comment.

Thanks for the mention and the great reading material! I am using Shareaholic’s new recommended post feature and I am very satisfied so far. It’s nice to be able to get rid of extra plug-ins
With everyone adding their own recommendations, we should be able to keep readers on our blogs for days!
I’m just now blogging faithfully. I’m sure I’ll learn a lot from you ladies
