AWeber Blog Broadcasts & Multiple Posts: FAQs

I frequently see people asking how to get AWeber Blog Broadcasts to include multiple posts. This is also a question I had myself as a new AWeber customer, so here is a quick tutorial on getting it set up correctly and running on autopilot.

Who Needs This Info?

The person most often looking for this information is the blogger publishing multiple, time sensitive posts per day. The blogger sending a weekly email probably will not need this.

Setting Up Multiple Post Blog Broadcasts

Step 1: Choose Blog Broadcasts from the Messages Menu

After choosing your Template and adding your RSS Feed, choose your preferred time and select Every Day.

After choosing your Template and adding your RSS Feed, choose your preferred time and select Every Day.

Don’t worry about selecting Every Day. AWeber will only send out emails when new posts are available. It will not email your subscribers blank or duplicate emails. An email will only be sent when new posts are available.

Quick Tip: Always uncheck Send Automatically when you make a change to your broadcast. This will give you the opportunity to  review it before it is sent. (You will need to log in and manually send it when it is ready.) Once you can give the new setup the all clear, you can put it on autopilot.

Bonus Tutorial: Send Full Posts in Your Broadcasts

Though sending full posts should likely be reserved for one-post broadcasts, you do have the option. Simply change {!rss_item_description} to {!rss_item_content}. Please be aware this may not work if you use the More tag if your posts.
